Mixing and matching Steam and non Steam?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

So I have Battle of Stalingrad on Steam. As far as I understand I can get Moscow (likewise for collector planes?) from here instead of from Steam. What will the difference be, if any?

You won't see it in your STEAM library, that's all.

Are the game files part of BoS, so there is no extra download if I add BoM?

Yes they are all part of Bos, and all new purchase will be also.

And it will all be automatic, just buy and it will be there already. No activation or anything.

totally works - I bought my game initially through steam, but the latest additions I just bought straight off the website.  Works like a charm. Even better than Steam, actually, since you don't have to copy any keys.

It just works.

The difference will be that the devs will get more money.

For you, there will be no differences in terms of gameplay. You will get fast updates from steam for all the game purchases even if you didn't buy them through Steam. It's a win-win situation.
