The Kestrel is such a beautiful Aircraft. A streamlined Libelle. How does it fly though? I have heard very mixed stories.

Yes, also what I‘ve heard. I knew one Libelle pilot, but also he was as special as his aircraft.

 

Special... unlike the Cirrus (with the stabylo, pendulum elevator for the „connaisseur“ only) at the time or the Mini-Nimbus later on that are plain fun, especially the Mini-Nimbus C.
