Choice of Monitor - Some Advice Please

I'm considering puchasing a new monitor and I've narrowed it down to the following two:

 

- Dell S2817Q 28" 4K UHD (2160p) 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz  2ms                                            Cost R6 000

 

- Dell S2716DG 27"  QHD 2560 x 1440 WQHD G-Synch @ 144 Hz                                           Cost R9 000 (50% more expensive than the Dell S2817Q.

 

Would appreciate your advice as to whether it's worth paying 50% more for the Dell 2716DG

I upgraded to a 144 hrz Samsung 1m/s monitor and use a DisplayPort, 1.2 HDMI, and USB.

 

best change I ever did, the refresh rate is 1ms at 144hrz and the faster this is the better and smoother like butter is going to blow your mind.

 

Speed is life and I play fps also so this made me more competitive gamer with this change.

 

The new functionality of Videos GPU's and faster refresh rates of the monitors give you better gaming performance and less stutters and lag.
