I used to use Power Grid on my Android tablet or phone.  You could design a custom button panel to let you do any function in the game.  You could also make macros.  The free version allowed you three different screens I think so you could make one for fighters and one for bombers and one for something else,  maybe wingman commands and gestures.

Here is a screenshot of one of the screens I built for CLoD.  It has some basic functions like flaps etc. as well as commands to change channels on Teamspeak and macros to adjust the gunsight widths while flying. IIRC the bombing page had things like 'Open Bomb bay' & 'Select Left Engine' and bomb sight controls etc.

 

 

I keep meaning to do one for BoX but don't have a tablet any more.   It is still usable on a phone though.

I bought CCP and I can't get it to work on any computer.

 

Edit: It works on about any machine except on my sim rig. Oh well. Have to fetch a 7900X sooner than planned then^^

One cool thing about CCP is that you can run it on multiple iPads simultaneously, with different panels running on them in addition to the ability to swap your panels on the fly.  Not so important for il-2, where things are pretty simple, but for DCS I'm guessing this will be very useful...I haven't actually gotten past the planning stage for the DCS airplanes, because there are so many controls, so many aircraft with complicated systems and so many possibilities as to how to go about implementing this.

Y - axis enabled (setup) ........... on

Y - axis automatic return ......... off

Y - axis invert ........................... off

 

In order for the axes to be different, they are configured in setup:

Z Rot (12) - Slider (win)
