Hopper64 Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 My performance with the new W10 update is decreased. I'm getting about half the FPS I was before the update. I guess I will reinstall the latest Nvidia driver and see what happens. Anyone else with similar issue?
Dutch2 Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Did read lots of problems in other forums, I would skip this update untill it is bugfree.
No_85_Gramps Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 My performance is about the same, no loss of FPS.
Hopper64 Posted October 18, 2017 Author Posted October 18, 2017 Did you reinstall the video card driver after the update Gramps?
II/JG11_ATLAN_VR Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 (edited) No fps loss Edited October 18, 2017 by II/JG11ATLAN
No_85_Gramps Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Did you reinstall the video card driver after the update Gramps? No, I was already running 387.92, and the update left that alone.
Hopper64 Posted October 18, 2017 Author Posted October 18, 2017 Yea. Mine did too. Wonder what the problem is with mine? Thanks.
No_85_Gramps Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Yea. Mine did too. Wonder what the problem is with mine? Thanks. The update did mess with my color settings, the color profile was set to default for my monitor, and I use a custom profile. Also, some NVIDIA settings were changed to the "use default color" setting. It did not change any game specific settings. I'm only running 1080p @60hz so my 1070 isn't being tasked too much. I'm sure you've already checked the device driver for your monitor, and everything else relating to graphics settings. Do you have the "Game Bar" activated by any chance? I keep that turned off as it never seemed to be of any use to me.
Hopper64 Posted October 18, 2017 Author Posted October 18, 2017 I disabled the game bar thing and just rechecked all my settings. I guess I needed to restart the game a few times as my performance is about what it was previously. ? Don't know what happened. It is better this morning. ? Thanks for your input.
