Strafing op

After I fixed crashing issue I took spitfire to france and started shooting ground units and it feels weird, everything explodes after few hits, even 88 that was hit in front shield turns into burning rubble. Planes, cars, artillery, few hits makes everything explode.

Would you consider doing something with it? It feels a bit too easy now, it was really hard to strafe with stuka (BoS) guns to destroy car or gun, you had to hit lots of times, intentionally or not it gaves feeling that you would wipe out crew of vehicle or battery and then it just explode because it's no longer usable. Not perfect but it's something.

It's also a bit unfair since you can use fighter to get easy kills but still be a fighter who can fight other planes, while someone in bf110 or beautifigher (sorry I just call it that way :P ) who won't be much vs fighters but can actually use 20mm guns to destroy ground targets feels a bit useless if you can do the same job with spitfire or something.

Just a thought of mine :)

Just the way the static planes/trucks DM works at the moment. If they were player controlled aircraft, you'd see different. Would be cool to have 2 different DMs for the ground objects, one that would reflect small caliber holes, one to reflect a bomb or an explosion. Right now there is only the one, which is destroyed or not.

I would say the cars and soft targets like that wouldn't take much at all to destroy them... you do have 8 .303s shooting at a high rate at them so they should be destroyed quickly.

Still more "HP" would be nice. Especially on parked planes and artillery.

With cars it's nice to see these 303 bullets hitting all over it but then it explodes after few hits. Never liked this in IL2 :P some objects should not explode all the time, count as destroyed but not burning unless you drop a bomb on it, would be way better.
