Cant get Trains to move. Please Advice

Not matter what i do, i cant get my trains to move, ive set the train to German and added some train wagons.

 

here is a picture (the waypoints were moved out of the tracks for the sake of the picutre)

You have to place the first waypoint on top of the locomotive for it to start moving!

It should not be necessary to place the first waypoint on the train. Try the sample train mission, which has the first waypoint much further out than in your mission.

Thats pretty wierd since the only change i made from the mission i posted earlier was placing the first waypoint on top of the train engine.

 

I openend a quick mission generated by the game and saw that the first waypoint was ON the train, tried it like that and it worked.

 

maybe its a bug? either way i have it working now with that method.

 

EDIT: i tried placing the first waypoint much further out and it worked, with the first method the second waypoint wouldn't fire, apparently placing the first waypoint too close to the train doesn't make it move. so placing the first waypoint much further out seems to be the way to go. thanks for the advice!

You pretty much just need one waypoint since the tracks will do the rest for you. Just place it in the final destination and you are all set.
