You could buy a brand new surplus flying P40 after the war for not much more than a new car. I have a black and white picture of one someone parked in their driveway and left to rot.

No, it wasn't. The guy i'm talking about just drove it on the street and was just a backyard mechanic. Nothing as nice as the one in the video.
