My wish list...

First time poster here.   Looking forward to the release.  My flight sim library looks comperable to the others on here.  IL2 was a good release as was CFS3 for it's time.  Now all the "arcade" type releases the last 3 years...ugh.  ROF is challenging and entertaining.

My wish list would include:

-Dynamic campaign.   Waaay back in the day (93?) there was a game called "Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe".  The campaign included target industries with percentiles remaining such as Aircraft, pilots, fuel, munitions, transportation etc.  In short how you played each mission made a difference to the campaign.  The more pilots you killed, the easier the following months missions were etc.  No 2 campaigns were alike.  I have not seen this in a flight sim since.

-Pilot career.  More versatile way of establishing ranks, medals etc.  ROF had a decent career mode but wasn't as consistent.  Make attaining a Group or Squadron Commander attainable...including virtual pilots I can hand choose to fly missions, selecting squadron schemes, aircraft types and reputations.

-Personal aircraft.  Let me paint it and put my kills on it please.

-Air to ground.  Troop concentrations have been trucks, tents etc in other games.  Infantry "lines" were common in WW2.  Low level (3k and below) machine gun/rifle fire would be nice.  Camoed out tanks complete with trees, branches and overgrowth were common from 1944.

-Tracer fire.  Seems like a lot of other sims only tracers do damage.  There is usually 5-11 rounds between each tracer.  Whatupwitdat?

Sorry it's Christmas day and I'm a tired daddy.  Sure I'll think of more later.  Just wanted to say hello and drop in.

These are good ideas but better suited to the Suggestions forum. In fact there's another thread with some similar ideas to yours.

Hey mate, I wondered the same thing, but in IL-2 and Rise of Flight there are "invisible" bullets doing damage too :)

I'm sure they will do it same way in BoS.
