5th_Barone Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 I was wandering if there are some standardized Nvidia control panel settings to get the best performance/quality ratio out of the game.
Thad Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 (edited) Salutations, I don't think there is a single 'best' setting but please check here. https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/29632-guide-nvidia-control-panel-profile-gtx780-1080ti/ Edited October 11, 2017 by Thad
5th_Barone Posted October 11, 2017 Author Posted October 11, 2017 Yeah I was wondering if there is something also for clod.
Thad Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 (edited) I don't know of any specific settings for Clod but any good settings for this simulation 'should' translate and perform well with Clod. Edited October 11, 2017 by Thad
69thSpiritus Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 You can try these. I have everything Maxed in game, SSAO on, Anti Ep off, Vsync off.
69thSpiritus Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 With Vsync on FAST, my FPS is very variable, but super smooth regardless of if I drop into the high 20's or 30's during battles over London, only way I can tell it happens is if I have the FPS counter on. The above settings I'm using at 4k as well which is promising, averaging 55-60 FPS in most situations, low of 27, high of 150. Even with that wide window, I can't tell the difference with Vsync on FAST.
BOO Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 To add my experience: Spiritus's settings work very well. Check what Anti Aliasing does for you in Clod though. It does nothing for me. My own opinion is that its not operational. Only FXAA or the in game setting work for me in terms of AA. Setting the AA in game to 1 or more turns it on. It doesnt increase with higher numbers. I cannot tell any difference between the NCP FXAA and the effect of switching it on in game. I assume somehow its on e and the same. Fast sync doesn't work for me either- it induces stutters. I have a 1060 and find Adaptive Vsync works the best. Others say it works for them though so it could be very system specific. cheers BOO
