Official word on torpedoes is, that it won't be in BoK upon launch, but since the technology is being developed for the Pacific, they might add torpedoes retroactively to BoK, if they can find the time.

Which would be awesome doing torp runs in an HE-111, Fw190 or A20B if the B had torps. And I didnt know an IL-2 had torpedo capabilities, which from what little I've found seems to be our 1943 variant using them.

The torpedo carrying version of the IL-2 was special and purpose-built, so we couldn't just slam a torp underneath our current IL2-1943.

Yeah I think it wasnt that heavy so that it could carry the heavy torpedos but it would be easy to just copy the il-2

sturmovik without the 20mm canons and replace the bomb cage with the mount for a torpedo it wasnt a complete redesign
