Hey gang,

So anyway new system is up and running I assembled on Monday, ready to receive BOS as soon as the update goes live!

I was looking around and was like, hey what is in this box? Well, I remembered thanks to some members here, I had ordered the CH Throttle Quadrant to add to my Warthog setup, to give me some more sliders to work with in my flight sims...

New monitor is out for delivery today,  and BOS update coming - life be good!

I plan on just plugging this quadrant in to a usb port and use as is, I really should not need to install any of the CH software for it should I? The axis and buttons should be recognized and able to be used for what I want to use it for just by plugging it in  correct? Of course I got to figure out just where in the world I am going to put this thing also.

Thanks for any tips,

I never installed the software for my CH pedals or Throttle Quad. They work fine just plugging them in.

That is about what I thought wanted to be sure though. I never installed the software for my Saitek Combat Pedals either and they work fine.

Thanks!

Never did install this either, but last week I noticed the throttle was moving to its fysical max, but ingame it had like 85%.

Installed it, did the calibration there and all was ok again. It won't hurt to install.

Thanks Bando, I will certainly do so should something arise that might need it.

I have the ch software installed as I had a ch fighterstick and the throttle quadrant, I never bothered removing the software when I swapped for a Warthog, the only issue I had was I required a powered USB hub to handle power requirements.

I have a powered usb hub as well, which is where I plug my periphs in - too much trouble to get to the back of my case.
