=GW=cocohua Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 (edited) I created a single mission, I will and my wingman(ai) take off from the road, but the ai did not move. I am sure that ai and my plane have created a RED target link,i also add WP to it,i had add a trakoff command to it ,and the program detection is intact in ME. Edited October 10, 2017 by jG52flytiger
JimTM Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 (edited) As I recall, you have to send a takeoff command to the AI to get it to takeoff. After that, it sticks with you. If the takeoff command does not work, post your mission (instructions here) so we can see what you're doing. Edited October 10, 2017 by JimTM
JimTM Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 (edited) I took a look at your mission that you posted in another thread (it would be better to post it here). Here's a few things that I found: - You need to trigger the take off command, for example: Mission Begin MCU ----> 2s Timer trigger ----> Take Off Command ---> etc. - Remove the waypoint since you are leading the flight (the target link to the takeoff command is incorrect anyway). If you only want the AI to takeoff and fly a route, see "Make a Plane Take Off, Fly a Route, and Land" on pg. 61 of the editor manual. - From my testing long ago, the AI does not start taxiing until the entire path to the runway is clear of player planes. Try taxiing to the runway and then see if the AI then starts taxiing. - You do not need to link the take off command to the player plane, unless you want the AI in your plane to taxi for you while you watch. Good luck flytiger! Edited October 11, 2017 by JimTM
=GW=cocohua Posted October 12, 2017 Author Posted October 12, 2017 I took a look at your mission that you posted in another thread (it would be better to post it here). Here's a few things that I found: Thank you!I want to creat a movie by MT, the Ai leader leads other AI totake off and fly along WP, and I'm sure to follow all the tutorials, but the plane does not take off , tells me how to fix it. takeoff.zip
JimTM Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 (edited) Quite busy at the moment flytiger. I'll have a look on the weekend, unless someone else beats me to it. Edited October 13, 2017 by JimTM
=GW=cocohua Posted October 13, 2017 Author Posted October 13, 2017 Thank you! I have solved this problem. The reason is that the number of runway charts is not enough, i did not add more it.So AI can not move, they may want to maintain a safe distance. This question is not pointed out in the tutorial guide. In addition, this editor logic and complicated operation, so that newcomers are difficult to happy, I had to spend a lot of time to learn it. Compared to other game editors, it's more difficult to learn.
