NETSCAPE Posted October 7, 2017 Posted October 7, 2017 ...that's too bad. I have a mission, in-air start, barely any fuel (story would be you are RTB after action and lost most of your fuel ect), objective: make it to German lines and crash land. I tested and tested and came up with a precise fuel amount to ensure the player can BARELY get to friendly territory. And if he lands in enemy territory or too close to the front, he is engaged by very angry Russians. If he deviates to much north or south, again he gets punished by fighters or katusha's ect... The problem is none of the Russian units engage the player once he runs out of fuel I have noticed! I guess I should have tested that part first...ugh. It is very unfortunate and really doesn't make too much sense... if I was a pilot I wouldn't care if an enemy plane was slowly gliding and losing altitude - I'd smoke them.
Habu Posted October 7, 2017 Posted October 7, 2017 Wich attack command do you use ? Maybe, you can use a force complete. If your plane running out off fuel, it could be designed as destroyed by the game, which could explain, why they stop firing on it.

Gambit21 Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 What about sending an "on bingo fuel" report linked to an attack command? You can use complex triggers placed in the zones where you'd want the attack to happen.
NETSCAPE Posted October 8, 2017 Author Posted October 8, 2017 It doesn't matter because they can't attack an object that is registered as destroyed unfortunately. And all the units that attack the player are triggered to do so after the players fuel has ran out already. I tend to use complex triggers by default. Rarely to I use checkzones.
