WWII German Military Kuban map

In the last number of Aces magazine (Nr. 4 Sept-Oct 2017), there was a long article/biography of the slovak ace Jan-Reznak that fought with the luftwaffe on the Kuban region. It is a french magazine and I do not know if an english version exists. In that article there was a photo of an original map used by the luftwaffe for the Kuban region. Here it is. I have improved it a little on photoshop to avoid typical printing/scanning artifacts.

That's very cool - anybody had time to check and see how it compares to the in-game Kuban map?  

 

[EDIT]  Flew a quick QMB mission on the Kuban summer map to check out how this map compares to our in-game map/terrain.  Looks like the Germans' map info must have been a little off - many of the rivers and roads are not on the ground where the Germans' map has them (especially rivers that the map shows as running through the mountains and some stretches of road along the coast). So, as it turns out this map isn't going to be too useful for actual in-game navigation.  Too bad, too, cause it was pretty neat flying around in my Bf-110 with that map in game and trying to spot things.  (Gotta love how easy it is to inject maps into VR using OVRdrop    ).

Excellent this one. The article also described how the german localization system worked, and which was very efficient and pretty straightforward.
