Flitgun Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 I just found this picture lying around - illustrated by my 5 year old son. No big deal for most of you, but hey - I love it for the following reasons: - I drew pictures just like this and grew up into a flight simmer (that's an achievement I know you can appreciate). - The detail! Look, there are bomb bay doors, a tail gunner, another gunner under the fuselage, I'm pretty sure that's a twin tail on the bomber there, complete with German black crosses, camouflage, flak bursts and a fighter escort lol. Actually I don't yell 'Skipper' at all while I play. I think he got this expression from a book I read to him. Well how about some aviation pictures from your kids - it might just inspire a new generation of combat simmers. 1 11
216th_Lucas_From_Hell Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 That's pretty cool! He even got the 110's long glass cockpit right 1
Feathered_IV Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 What a treasure. I love it. You should consider having it framed.
unreasonable Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 When my mother died a few years ago, we were sorting through all the stuff in her house and in one of her oddments drawers came across a couple of pictures I had painted when I was about your son's age, 45 years previously. Rather a moving moment. Keep it safe somewhere. 1
