DVI vs. HDMI

Hi,

 

just wanted to ask if there is a difference concerning performance between DVI and HDMI connections for my screen?

Look at monitor manual/guide. Signal definition (resolution@hz) are constrain by cable type and version. For example I have to use Display Port - DP (higher version too) to receive 3440x1440@100 hz image from graphics card. Besides image they can carry or not sound too.
