drew03tx Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 when i join a session i can still hear the main menu sound effects (planes flying by, bombs dropping) in the backround when my planes engine is not running. Is this just something everyone deals with or is there a way to stop it? Once my aircrafts engine is running its loud enough i cant hear the menus sound effects anymore but i was still wanting to see if there is a way to eliminate the sound.
Wester Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 Same problem here, the ambient menu sounds keep playing while I am in a server. Is there some config to disable these sounds completely? I mean the music can be turned off, why not this ambient noise?

Personally, I just play music a little louder than the background sounds. It isn't a real fix but at least I don't have to put up with those damn guns firing all the time.
