HELP-VR Issues

I have some strange happenings in VR with my Oculus Rift.

1.   Sometimes when I try and start Il2 BOS-BOK, I get the first screen with my ID and password and the cursor arrow has limited/restricted movement

and I can't select the enter button.   Then if I exit with Task Manager, cancel Steam, Oculus and IL2 and restart IL2,  things will be OK.

2.   When I start to fly I find that some of my Thrustmaster Warthog key bindings are not the same as I previously had selected, usually just one button difference.  The new button bindings will work Ok once I determine where they are.

Any assistance or guidance will be appreceiated

I play with UItra selected and with all graphic options at their highest settings  cockpit is clear and  terrain is beautiful.   FPS varies from 45 to 90.

 

My rig:

Win 10, i7-7700K liquid cooled, 32 GB, GTX 1080ti, 1 TB SSD, 4TB HDD, Oculus Rift CV1, Thrustmaster Warthog Joystick with extension and Throttle, Saitek Pedals

What monitor resolution are you using? I have to use 800x600 to get the mouse to reach the button correctly, can't use 640x480. Is it possible that when you start using the other method it is coming up with a different screen resolution? Can't help with the warthog unfortunately.

Yes, If the res on screen is too low one cant hit the button. Just up it a step in 2d mode and youll be grand.

 

Sometimes if one adds another controller or doesnt have the same controllers running then the bindings can get messed up a little. Thats all I can think of, ie if your binding is button 1 Controller 1 and then next time button 1 controller 2 for example.

My screen resolution is unchanged at 1680x1050 and I have used the same controllers for the last 2 years.

The binding change  will not vary with the controller-joystick vs throttle

Example: . Controller 1, selected binding (button 15) for F1 yesterday:  Todays binding was found to be-Controller 1 (button 16) for F1

I personally just have the game remember my user id and password, so when im at the main screen i have the second from lowest resolution ( one step up from 640x480, whatever it is) and my mouse wont reach the enter button as well, however i just click the "Enter" button on my keyboard and it logs me in, then i use my mouse to select multiplayer and im golden from there....
