A-E-Hartmann Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Hi all, I search all font styles for VVS. I looked at the usual sites to do.There are many fonts for Russian writing but not really what corresponds to the VVS.If anyone can provide me the fonts, it would be great.Any help would be welcome.
216th_Lucas_From_Hell Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Bad news, Hartmann. There was absolutely no fleet-wide standard for both numbers and slogans. These were usually hand-painted by ground crew or occasionally stenciled by factory workers. If you don't mind me asking, for whst writing/number is this particular font? Maybe we can find one equivalent to what you need. 1
A-E-Hartmann Posted September 25, 2017 Author Posted September 25, 2017 Thank you for these very interesting information, I thought there was a standard. After, I'm not looking for a particular font, I'm looking for any styles that will match the VVS. (Generally I reproduce them directly when I do not find anything that corresponds).I would like if this is possible that people share their fonts with me . There are a lot of Russian aircraft skins with different fonts and it would be nice to collect the fonts made by the skinners. And the topic will allow to benefit everyone who searches for fonts for VVS. PS: Sorry for my bad English I hope you understand the sans of my sentences.
216th_Lucas_From_Hell Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 I have a 1941 numbers and a varied stars template somewhere in my external HD which were rescued from SimmersPaintShop before it closed, I'll upload them for you once I get a computer up and running again. It would really be great to share these fonts since a lot of them can be used across many skins, it's a great idea 1

56RAF_Roblex Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 Thankyou. They may be on the wrong aircraft and not have all the numbers I need but there is a chance I can copy some and adapt them.
