Sokol1 Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 (edited) Since this work in peculiar "It's Clod!" way, and maybe TF 4.50 bring a flyable Me 108, "how to": First in Options > Realism > leave all "Cannot Switch/Select/Create" options unchecked. In Single Player - player spawn as instructor, in rear cockpit: 1 - Press the key for: "Jump Between Pilot and Selected Position" (set in "Aircraft" category, near the end of list) - Command name that should be changed for something more informative, like "Alternate plane control between cockpits/pilots"... 2 - Press the key for: "Next Manned Position" (set in "View" category) or use "Previous Manned Position" (set in "View" category) or use "Manned Position #2 and #1 for go back (set in "View" category) To return for the rear cockpit, repeat the command sequence, but in inverted order., e.g. you press A then B (assuming use B for "Next Manned Position) for take control in front cockpit, press B then A for move back fro rear cockpit and take control. Note - "Jump Between Pilot and Select Position" take controls of player but don't put the plane in "AI Autopilot", only keep the last plane flight atitude, so use this command in straight level flight only. - Neither change cockpit position first and after press "Jump Between Pilot and Selected Position" will work for take control in front cockpit, only for return to back cockpit (the needed reverse order). In Multiplayer The "pupil" join in the front cockpit of "pilot" plane - who have selected and created the Tiger Moth flight, by click in "co-pilot" under "pilot" name in rooster, both players need to be at the same aerodrome. The "pilot" has control of the aircraft, from the rear cockpit, as is standard, by pressing the key for "Jump Between Pilot and Selected Position", will transfer control of the aircraft to the "pupil" (co-pilot) in the front cockpit. After finishing the flying lesson, the "pupil" press the key for "Jump Between Pilot and Selected Position" and the controls of the aircraft return to the pilot in the rear cockpit. Use the command "Jump Between Pilot and Selected Position" in multiplayer can produce strange effects, like momentary graphics arfifacts and/or plane dive straight, on ground make the plane "bog" on terrain and broken the propeller. "Sightseeing flights" and "flight lessons" school open for business in Dangerdogz server, who have DH-82 available in all RAF bases: I don't "borked" the skin, is just the plane serial code (up to 5 digits). Team Fusion Buzzsaw Posted September 27, 2017 Team Fusion Posted September 27, 2017 (edited) Since this work in peculiar "It's Clod!" way, and maybe TF 4.50 bring a flyable Me 108, Bf-108 will be flyable in TF 5.0. And there will be a few more options for Tiger Moths in TF 4.5.... just for fun. https://image.ibb.co/haO8R5/DH_82A_1.png https://image.ibb.co/e0Ja65/DH_82A_2.png These are not historical to the Battle of Britain... although we will include a bomb armed Tiger Moth which was historical. These are just additions we did a long time ago when we were learning the process of importing new 3D models. The first is a Tiger Moth with a Wingmount Vickers with drum magazines, the second is a Tiger Moth with a front cockpit mounted Czech Schwartzlose belt fed MG which fires through the prop. The Czech was historical... in the early '30's... the Vickers is pure fantasy... Both have hopped up Gypsy IIIC racing engines with 150 hp and different props. (historical props) They are a ton of fun to fly and we think people will enjoy them on a non-historical server. Edited September 27, 2017 by Buzzsaw
71st_AH_Mastiff Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Sokol, that’s how we’ve been train some of our pilots when they struggle with taxing, take off and landings.
