Any screens of crash damage?

I'm curious how BoS handles crash DMs.

There used to be tons of botched landing videos to show that. Not sure if they are still up on youtube.

Here are 2 crashes I had. First one in the 109, 2nd is the LaGG. Skip to the end if you are only interested in seeing the crashes (both are on landing).

The 109 I found particularly interesting how the wing broke but stayed attached, then breaks completely after a minute or so.

Yeah these are about how mine looked.  But also consider DM's are only half complete right now.

I've been assuming the visual DM is still pretty rudimentary. Not sure if that's the case, but I think it must still have some way to go.

I'm just hoping we don't get the rubber SPADs of RoF is why I am asking.

The ones I see so far are not instilling confidence, but it is early.

Anyone intentionally fly straight in?   Does the aircraft bounce?

SPADs in my RoF don't bounce.

The aircraft going straight in explode for right now.

Progress.

Good.

BTW, some of you may not remember that when RoF was new, the aircraft would indeed bounce when hitting the ground.  One of the reasons I walked away from it for over a year.

At least they explode now.  Hopefully the props will bend soon as well.

Thanks for the info.

Many changes since those days ElAurens, Im sure the DM is nowhere near complete if ROF is anything to go by.

I had RoF from day 1, the SPADs "bounce" was minimal at best. Probably more noticeable on slower machines. Not something I noticed particularly.

Additionally, why would you ever think that they would take what they've created up to this point and fine tuned to the point of amazing, and then just drop it to start all over again to retrace steps they've already done?

And aircraft don't always explode, that bit is hollywood. Imagine a plane with no fuel augers in, nothing to cause explosion therefore should be no explosion.

Thx for the vids. I have seen this kind of wobbling flying on gun cams from the war. The last guy you shot down. The dramatic turn he took and the hits he received . It looks so real compared to the real thing
