New to IL2 - Rig question (3770k@4.3/580GTX/Win10

So here i am. Have around 4000 hours in FSX but left it 3 years ago.

I've decided to come back to simming/flying but with IL2/DCS/RoF.

My rig is a 3770k @ 4.3Ghz /8GB RAM@1600 / GTX 580 / Win 10...

I am praying that i can fly with just a moderate upgrade to my NVIDIA from GTX580 -> GTX1060...

Will this be enough to enjoy the sims? Or i would need to go the expensive way of a 7700k/1080?

P.S. Spare me but FSX is whole different monster regarding performance.

Thank you all.

7700k/1080 would obviously be better.

Of course it will be but i am trying to make some choices that will get me 1-1,5 year more..

My target is 1080p ..and my budget goes up to a GTX 1060 or max 1070 with 3770k@4.3.... I wonder if this is enough...

That should be enough, but define enough!

true story :)

When Flying in FSX, the room was like a sauna and i did not need noise from the plane engines, i had my H100 surround sound.... And performance optimization was a nightmare...

Now i just want to go easy and not get mad right from the start...My wife will divorce me if i fly 6 hours  day again....

You should be ok either way, but if you can go with the 1070.

CPU is fine, I'd say upgrade the GPU to whatever you can afford comfortably.

So......

Got an MSI 1070 Gaming X with a 1440p DELL 25 monitor alongside with a 1080p second monitor....

And i have to say that my i7 3770k runs about 50% and GPU around 70% with ULTRA....Not bad....
