Hi All, Does anyone know why aerial victories are not being recorded, I'm completing my missions with victories and getting back to base and being shown the " Mission Accomplished " message. when going back into

PWCG my pilots log is showing zero, perhaps i should go back and read the tutorial because i must have missed something ?

Cheers   :salute:

Are you claiming the victories in your combat reports?

Yeah, you have to actually lay claim to your kills. Otherwise, how will your superior officers know?

Thanks all, My fault again, went back to listen to Pat Wilson, and i found the problem, [ after mission, debrief and claim kills ]

All is not wasted, however.  If you score a victory and do not claim it the victory will be given to a squadron mate.  Very intentional, as it allows you to help raise your squadron mates skill level.  PWCG has its roots in RoF and it was not unusual for the better squadron leaders to do this.

Another reason for claims is that the game will often credit a victory for a damaged plane that crashed much later.  Many players prefer to make claims for only those victories that they see crash, as it would have been in real life.

I think it's one of the really great aspects of PWCG.

Yes, I absolutely appreciate this, too. Otherwise you get kills credited, you never would have known, if they really were kills, or made it back home, or got killed by someone else.
