Actually due to game lag, what I see is not what the opponent sees. I had to block both him and the guy shooting behind me. (On the normal server there is a radar view). So he turned for a shooting opportunity. Hopefully the damage was not immediately critical.

I admire you flying the F4 on that server. For my beginner skills the FW A3 is much easier to fly and survivable now. The new elevator on the F4 is scary, especially in steep dive (it locks up).

Yes it locks, in extreme cases you need full positive horizontal stab to recover. Very difficult to black out LOL, it is more common to apply full elevator deflection with little effect, than to black out from excessive G. In some dives I push forward the stick to dive as the plane  has to be  trimmed positive in anticipation for easy recovery (actually that is a historical procedure in the 109). What matters for the general 109 pilot is also the roll reduction for effective boom zoom. As for me in 109 I prefer to shoot in the neck from blank range. On the other hand the new FM really made the whole RUDDER experience better, what whine the LW affectionados is that the roll reduction is more pronounced in the 109 than in the other planes.
