I 16 Type 24 / zoom out

Hello everyone,

Just want to ask if it's possible to zoom out, more, for the I-16 Type 24 aircraft.

With all the other aircrafts, i have no issue, but with I 16, i can't read / see / the cockpit instruments

You need to lean down, zooming out won't help without leaning down.

Or, press Num period (Snap add).  This key snaps to instrument panel view point.

I have the same problem with I-16. I think the pilot is seated too high in the cockpit and because that you can't see the instruments. I tried "sit" my pilot lower, but then I have the colimator body in the middle of the view. In the external view, the pilot is seated more down that the point of view inside of cockpit.

 

I think devs raise the colimator artificially for a better view over the nose of the plane and the player can to shoot better, but that brings the point of view of the instruments (and realism) worst.

 

I can see similar stuff in La-5 cockpit too. The cockpit is basically the same that LaGG-3, but you are sitting higher and the colimator is higher too. You can see that too in the frame of cockpit glass. In the Lagg-3 you can see to side and the frame is over the eyes of pilot. In the La-5 you look at the side and you have the frame in front of your eyes.
