Finnish Markings!

Why is it not possible to have full Finnish markings on the 109, it's not a swastika and frankly this is supposed to be historically accurate !

Probably because most people will see it as a negative symbol no matter what, even if it had nothing to do with Nazi Germany.

 

For instance, the US 45th Infantry Division patch was a swastika before the war because of the large Native American population but once the war started they changed the patch.

It`s a legal thing also in some countries, they don`t separate different swastikas.

 

Look for the historical Finnish skins in the thread, there are some. Not a big deal

Hi I have found some skins, but I cant seem to get them to work, I paste them in skins in the aircraft type in steam skins, however when I look in options in game there not there, I am newish so apologise if this is done to death, Is there an easy way to get the skins in game..thanks

Hi mate,

 

You have to place the skins that you download into the specific aircraft folder. This will be located in the BOS folder. If you are using steam it will be in \Steam\steamapps\common\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\graphics\skins. You have to make sure that the skin that you download goes into the corresponding aircraft folder.
