CUJO_1970 Posted September 14, 2017 Posted September 14, 2017 That's the internet for you. I see two things at work here - (1) the game is calculating accumulated damage and applying it to the IL2 (the FW has no damage) and (2) latency or lag effect on the server due to internet connection. I would be very surprised if this event could be recreated offline in QMB. 1
ITAF_Cymao Posted September 14, 2017 Posted September 14, 2017 (edited) Nothing strange or surprising, the 190's wing touches the IL2's propeller that gets damaged. And normally in these contacts the wing never gets damaged! And there isnt connection problem and even offline would have the same result with any plane... So if you call the bionic this FW 190 that touches the propeller without damage then how would you call this La5? However, La5 didnt come back to the base Edited September 14, 2017 by ITAF_Cymao
ShamrockOneFive Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 Must be those radial engines :D Netcode gets funny sometimes. It's still surprising to me that it works as well as it does but there are times when it doesn't... and in sims I'll bet its even harder trying to make all of the physics work online the same way it does offline.
