NoneDefense777 Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 Howdy all, I have been flying on combat flight sims since 1999. (one would think I'd be good by now, but...) I have flown Fighter Ace (Realistic), Warbirds, and Aces High. Being retired I fly Aces High pretty much every day for a few hours. Problem is the newest version dumped Early and Mid War, where most 1v1 or 1v2 dogfights took place. With the new Aces High III all that is available is "Free For All." The problem with FFA is that most pilots will look where the most friendly action is taking place and go there where folks like me (Defense1) are defending and then start "picking," ie - Boom and Zoom, thereby racking up multiple kills with little ACM. So, I downloaded Warbirds again because they used to have "Instant Action" and it's no longer available. Then my daughter bought me IL2 BOS and it does have instant action. Great! Problems are: -No sound -No snap views, only pan views and that would get me "smoked" immediatly against any AI bandits. The is a button that "seems" to indicate that I could choose different view types, but it has no effect. I found that there is no phone contact for support for IL2 as there is in Aces High and I have therefore sent in two emails outlining the problems.
