I'm following the instructions and everything seems to work okay, but the mission isn't visible to select in my mission list in-game.

I have Moscow, Stalingrad, and Tank missions, but it's not in any of them.

Ok, I'm an idiot and figured it out.

However I got an attack mission as a fighter squadron and there was no option to select destroyed ground targets in the AAR.

What side and aircraft?

Not being able to claim ground targets is normal, btw.

I was in a 190.

So, are the missions built based on the conditions of the previous mission flown?  Is it a dynamic campaign, or just dynamic missions?

Only air victories are claimed.  Ground targets are assigned automatically by analyzing the logs.

A bit of both.  Just dynamic missions in terms of supply lines and persistent destruction.  Dynamic campaign in the sense of living squadron members, aces, and several other aspects.

History does not change.

Thanks for your responses.

What are the several other aspects?

Squadrons move

Equipment changes

The player can transfer between any squadron, allowing you to start as a bomber pilot and transition to fighters

In RoF you can even switch services and nations (this really did happen in WWI).

PWCG keeps track of players from previous squadrons.  They continue to live their lives.  If you transfer back many of your old squadron members might still be there.

It is under single missions in BoX.  The mission name starts with your pilot then goes on to include the campaign date and mission type.  BoX has no idea that PWCG missions are anything other than something generated by the Mission Generator.
