Is Wheel Lock Working?

Which aircraft?  The Lagg does not have wheel lock.

Dumb question warning:  Do you lock wheel on takeoff, landing or both?

Best would be for both!

I take the wheel lock off if I really need to turn tightly and only very shortly.  With tail wheel lock on I find I can only get around by moving as much as five plane lengths.  Witth it on I can almost turn on a dime, it is just stopping that is hard.
