No controllers found

Brief description:

Suddenly is seems the game is unable to find any of my controllers. 

 

 

Detailed description, conditions:

When going to settings, and controllers, made sure joystick was selected. Then one in Key-mapping, nothing responds to either joystick, throttle or rudder pedals, axis nor buttons.

I tried to remove all the controllers from the system, and then installing them again, but to no success. They work fine in P3D and DCS world.

I finally found the issue!

It was a STEAM issue where under settings>controller>general controller settings>Generic gamepad had to be unticked.
