I do not understand how there are people who say that visually is outdated.

I still think that in many ways it is superior to BOS, also visually.

We will agree to disagree on it being way superior. I take my hat off to what TF  is doing but IMO the Kuban map for IL2 is probably the best flight sim map I have ever seen.

I know this has been visited and revisited but the 109 pilot looks lost in the cockpit. Scale doesn't seem correct

You can change uniforms to the pilot

You can put the number you want in the skin

You can change the ammunition tapes

The fluids emanate in a logical way ..................... almost unrecognizable fuel lines

The damages are totally superior visually

You can recognize a plane only by the reflection of its crystals (a detail of very high quality)

There is still a way to make it perfect, but they are working on it.

It was the way to go, and although the Bos is fabulous it has moved away from what the cliffs offered

the detonations of explosive ammunition are spectacular

The sound of the twisting irons or the recreation of the sea ..............

Some of those little fishing boats remind me a lot of the little craft in The Guns of Navarone. Soon they will be right at home in the Mediterranean too

Don't ask why a flight game developer loose time of 3D maker and programmer done a dumb thing like this.

 

Wrong modeled, 1940's Beetles don't have big rear square window.  

 

That "thing" floating over a given area, like ... "bug's"... Who know on what purpose...
