No_85_Gramps Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 Maybe it's just a senior moment but I haven't been able to figure out how to rewind a track while editing in game. I've searched the forums, and everywhere else I can think of but with no luck. I've seen other forum posts that talk about it, but not how to do it. I can slow it down, speed it up, but not rewind. Any experts know the secret to this?
Utopioneer Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but with HUD elements visible, there's a track on the bottom of the screen and you can mouse click anywhere in that track to skip to that moment. If by rewind you mean play it in reverse, I'm not sure how.
No_85_Gramps Posted September 2, 2017 Author Posted September 2, 2017 (edited) I thought that is how it might have worked but my mouse is not visible. I do some more checking. Thanks! Update: If I just load the track it plays fine and I can rewind using the mouse, however, in the edit mode I'm not getting a mouse cursor, strange. Now in the load version I can watch and jump around but then there is no option to save, you only get that in the edit mode. Edited September 2, 2017 by Gramps
No_85_Gramps Posted September 6, 2017 Author Posted September 6, 2017 Okay, still have not found a way to rewind/ff a track while in edit mode. Sure would make editing a lot easier. Anyone of the video gurus have a solution?
Requiem Posted September 6, 2017 Posted September 6, 2017 (edited) You can't rewind or see a mouse cursor in edit mode because that mode is designed to let you record your views during the course of the track I believe. You can only rewind when watching the track, and even then only by using the mouse, there is no key to rewind AFAIK Edited September 6, 2017 by SYN_Requiem
No_85_Gramps Posted September 6, 2017 Author Posted September 6, 2017 Thanks Requiem! I was beginning to suspect that was the case.
chuckinator Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 All you have to do his click the "SHOW HUD" button ingame and a slider will appear at the bottom of the track.
