hello?

Since the installation of the last patch I receive the following message each time I quit the game: "error has occurred and message about a CFGPool.log but the exe of IL2 does not stop and stays into the background. In game all seems normal only when i quit the game this occurs.

I must each time stop IL2.exe manually.

Annoying, is it not?

  :salute:

I still get the script errors below on integrity check in mission editor

Object(500:Block) >> no script file! : LuaScripts\WorldObjects\Blocks\kuban_block_zdravnica.txt
Object(501:Block) >> no script file! : LuaScripts\WorldObjects\Blocks\kuban_lighthousesmall.txt
Object(1161:Block) >> no script file! : LuaScripts\WorldObjects\Blocks\kuban_lighthousebig.txt
Object(1879:Block) >> no script file! : LuaScripts\WorldObjects\Blocks\kuban_museum.txt
Object(1931:Block) >> no script file! : LuaScripts\WorldObjects\Blocks\kuban_railroadstation00.txt

However, the above objects do have a picture associated with them in the object selection, where on first release they did not.

I did find the solution it was not to find in the game but in STEAM how I do not know but in the start command of Steam there was an additional line "_enable = 0" I am certain I never put there, once removed the error message and effect did disappear.  :salute:

Thanks for the help of the many how did give solutions.

I am getting this now - a couple of weeks ago no issues.  But I cannot find any such line in the steam properties - game options - game launch section....

Steam support page just refers everything to the developer.  Support ticket in, will report on answer .   :(

Yeah still waiting for support. Rather frustrating.

I had a support reply - forgot to include it here.....

"Send us the file "CFGpool.log" from [steam folder] \steamapps\common\il-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data"

Looking in that - I was unable to find CFGpool.log in Start/Run for some reason - I could see that it referred to a readme that someone had included in the zip of a new bump map for a 4K skin. Once I deleted that readme, no more problems.
