Mission editor frequent crashes

1) DX11 - Yes

2) Windows 10 64bit Yes

3) NVDIA GPU hardware Yes

4) a 4k monitor Yes

 

To solve this (Im sure the culprit is the 4K res because I have changed my PC, mobo, CPU, RAM, OS, etc and only my 4K screen stays), I'm going to test this program:  http://www.bcheck.net/apps/reso.htm

Using it, you can choose the resolution for the editor without changing anything else in OS.

Well, working now in mission editing at 2560*1440 (instead 4K) without any crash until now... ?

Occasionally i delete the msnbin file for a mission that cashes too easily, like straight after leading .... seems to help ??

Just type "No" yourself each time you come up with one of these.

I have a new trick now; every time i click on the startup icon i IMMEDIATELY stick both my hands in the air for a minute or 2.

Then i look out the window and sometimes even say a good luck little prayer to the God of Gaming (Zeus?). That works ?!

Added: PS, SSSSSHHHHH ... today it worked !

For a 4 hour session of restarting the ME, changing to the game, and back..... ! ( I'm off now to some holy place to burn a candle.)
