Playing on Wings of liberty server today I fought a 109 for a very long time from 3k all the way to the deck. I got him eventually but realised he had dragged me a long way from home and had called for help. I knew the chances of getting away were slim but figured I might as well make it a challenge for them.... Enjoy.

Nice I'd suggest closing that canopy though, you'll get more from the engine that way.

Unfortunately I didn't have any, haha, I was on team speak but alone and didn't really have the chance to type.

Technically I did, made it back to friendly lines and plane didn't explode on impact. I'm counting it as a win anyways, also one of the 109's blew his engine so although its a stretch, in my mind I got two kills, haha!

Cheers, I fly with it open in the lagg for a couple of reasons, but mostly so I have better reward visibility. The increase in speed you get with it closed is pretty marginal and you still can't really outrun anything! Also the amount of times my pilot has died due to not being able to bail out with a stuck canopy is pretty frustrating!

You did a splendid job with the LAGG, short turns can put of a 109 with energy. I think you did what was possible , very hard to hit someone moving like you did, deflectionshooting is hard when you cannot anticipate where your target is going

Cheers LuseKofte, I think I possibly would have gotten away with it if it was only one chasing me, maybe even two but by the end there were six of them!!
