Good article about flying the P-40 (1965)

Note:

-stall speed (77mph indicated)

-loop speed (240mph with 2,600ft elevation gain and 130mph at apex of loop)

-35"Hg/2600rpm gives 2000 feet per min climb

-speed of 290mph indicated at 5000 feet with open canopy (power settings unknown)

 

Obviously, no guns or ammo.
