This was NOT intended to demonstrate sound tactics, the intention was to see how far and how hard you can push the 109 against one of the best red  turn-figter Yak 1b aces.

That was great. It started as a slow, controlled dogfight, then it progressed into a frantic knifefight where the 109 used its superior power combined with the slowest part of immelmans and split Ss to get good angles onto the Yak and eventually force it down. Smart flying there, Kornezov!
