Porkins Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 I own BoS, and am strongly considering BoK when it is released. My problem is that my PC is hooked up to a 55 inch TV in my living room. It's hardly worth it for me to re-arrange everything, plug in my old HOTAS, and sit awkwardly on the floor. ' So I was wondering if anyone knew of wireless flight stick options, or if it's possible to play IL-2 with an Xbox or Steam controller? I fully realize that the game is designed for flight sticks and that a controller can't ever present the feel of a stick. But I remember the old IL-2 Birds of Prey and Birds of Steel came out for console and was quite playable on a controller. I'm not looking for the ideal solution, just playable with a wireless device, stick or controller. Thanks!
216th_Lucas_From_Hell Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 Something like this could work: http://handheldsci.com/kb
1./KG4_OldJames Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 I am sure you have considered it, but not mentioned USB extension cables? Loads for pennies on eBay.
TXSailor_1 Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 You're going to be limited to console-style controllers. Personally, I hate those, but I have a SteelSeries StratusXL bluetooth controller which works great as a controller, but it's no joystick.
