Which variant of the V-1710 is and how much power it has?

As far as i remember it has around 1200 or 1210 hp. But at which altitude?

You all will need to go to Reno and ask the ground crew their secrets. I'm sure they'll be telling, no doubt.

The Yak 3s, as cool as they are, have never been competitive at Reno, but then, they were not built for absolute speed were they.
