F3 zoom

Hi,

 

Still unable to zoom my plane in F3 flyby view 

 

Plane is very far from camera...am i alone?

I thought it was fixed...

I can adjust the distance in F3 with a mouse wheel. Although it would be cool to allow us to "zoom" further in and if the zoom was smooth as in F2 view..

Ah...so might be a mapping problem then.

In F2 i'm able to zoom with the right clic + drag, but not in F3.

I think i should try to map my mouse wheel instead!

You could try the zoom function in the camera settings ?!

Before hitting flyby view, zoom in the pilot's view. This will make the flyby view zoomed in. Similarly, change the pilot's view angle before hitting Flyby, and the view will be different.

No problem here, I have camera zoom + and - assigned to a button on my joystick, through the stick software, and can zoom with no problem while viewing fly by.

Ok, got it working now...had to map same joystick button as my zoom view for camera zoom.

Though mouse wheel wasn't working even if i mapped it to camera zoom...strange.
