Hoss Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 When I first had the game installed my in game volume was very loud and I always had to turn it down with voice comms on to be able to hear people speak, I have noticed over time the volume has gradually gone down to where I have to turn up the in game volume to 100% just to be able to hear the engines and guns, but comms voices are very loud...(Discord). I have gone into DCS and legacy IL2 and the sound it those is so loud it hurts your ears, and I'm back to turning down those so a bearable level. I have checked in start config settings on sounds. [KEY = sound] debug_radio = 0 interface = 0 interface_music = 0 quality = 1 volume = 1.00000 My sound card volume is also at max....... (eClaro) and system volume in task bar, Headphone volume is also max.... not sure what's causing this problem but I would sure like to fix it. I can't hear external sounds very well have a hard time hearing my gunners shoot at enemy planes. Cheers Hoss
Hoss Posted September 2, 2017 Author Posted September 2, 2017 No one has any idea what might be causing this? I have checked my commas programs to see if they might be attenuating the game sound but they are not. They don't affect other games either which are extremely loud now because of where I have volume set for BoX....... Hoss
