216th_Lucas_From_Hell Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 (edited) I always found it baffling how little is said about the bombing of Stalingrad. One of the most horrifying single uses of airpower in history. Edited August 24, 2017 by 216th_Lucas_From_Hell 2
Danziger Posted August 25, 2017 Posted August 25, 2017 I'm a member of a guitar forum and there is a guy trying to tell people about how the evil Russians were raping and murdering civilians as they came through Germany. I told him to research it a little further and he would probably find out why. There were atrocities committed by all countries involved in the war. Atrocities were avenged with further atrocities. 1
II/JG17_HerrMurf Posted August 25, 2017 Posted August 25, 2017 With no disrespect to those who were lost, this will always be a game as we risk nothing to play it. I saw real combat and there is no such thing as a simulation of it. 2

I've never seen combat, but I know for a fact that no matter how accurately a game portrays things, it will never be as horrific as experiencing it for real.
