BoX and multicrew

at the moment we can join other players as gunners in their bombers which is excellent. However, would we ever be able to get them to join as bombardier/gunner as well (if we so wanted)?

That would actually be really cool, but could be difficult from a dev perspective, because two people now control the plane.

Also who gets the credit for hitting the ground targets. Bomber pilot flies for an hour deep behind the lines, bombadier comes back from afk for 1 minute of glory, then goes afk for the journey home.

 

I still think it could be really cool, if it is possible though

Though there isn't tons of need yet, a co-pilot function would be outstanding.

I believe Jason said that separating the pilot and bombardier wasn't going to be possible not too long ago. I cant recall the exact reason but i guess it was an implementation/gameplay challenge.

This work in IL-2 CloD and until now I see only ONE video of two guys using the feature - in Blenheim. Luftwaffe planes has good auto level autopilot that makes pilot mere passenger in bombing run.

The relation of code work involved X players use will be unfavorable to the former.

Yes it was in the interview on teamspeak, the first or the second, i don't remind. The question was on the bomber position.

i guess its not really about who gets the credit for any kills but more the ability to have true multicrew. I have a squad that likes to fly together as gunners so having a proper bomb aimer would be even better. Understandable if technically its impossible.
