As you taxi about to the runway it would be nice to see the spinning prop kick up some blowing snow.

It would be. And it is. It is already modelled, though it only kicks in as you increase the power.

Take a look at your plane at takeoff, from the outside, and you shall see it already is the case there is blowing snow!
