Thad Posted August 15, 2017 Posted August 15, 2017 Salutations fellow mission builders, I am nearing completion of a tank mission. Basically, the player is a panzer company commander tasked with attacking and capturing a reported fuel depot. I plan to have the mission objective a success if the player gets enough of his units into the fuel depot area. But as a twist, I want there to be a possibility of the enemy blowing up the depot. Big Boom or two preferable. I have found information about using the Random Switch and the Damage or Repair of Objects in the editor manual but I have not found a specific method of having an object simply go BOOM and be destroyed when desired. Firstly, is this possible? If so, how. Thanks in advance.

Gambit21 Posted August 15, 2017 Posted August 15, 2017 I was going to suggest spawning a bomber full of bombs a inside another object, maybe a few feet off the ground. I've been meaning to try that to see what it produces. I have a few missions planned where a triggered explosion is needed. Glad to learn of the above workflow - going to try the bomber to for grins.
