Request for Mission Makers

Whilst I could make complicated missions in the original IL2, the new mission maker is beyond my capabilities and patience.

 

But for those versed in BoX mission making would it be possible to make a mission for people having difficulties with some a/c landings whereby:

 

The mission began in the air heading in the downwind direction 5 to 10 clicks from the airfield, and

 

Where the a/c type could be changed to whatever type was giving the individual trouble creaming a landing?

 

I had on set up for carrier landings in IL2 Pacific Battles. It was much more convenient than having to go through the take off each time for practice landings.

 

I think a lot of players would find this most beneficial those a/c with quirky lading traits and whenever a new a/c is released.

If it's SP you would have to change the plane type in the mission editor yourself. There is no way to set it like in MP where you click on the map and choose the plane. So switching planes will require restarting the game.

 

The closest thing in SP would be going for a solo flight in the QMB starting at 1K and then land in the nearest airfield.

maybe when Co-op is implemented we'll be able to host MP like missions for ourselfs

I am clearly a dickhead JM, I have used your method myself in the past. It was reading about others having problems landing certain a/c that prompted the thought.

 

Disregard this post from hereonin, the methodology already exists in QM. I reiterate - I be a dickhead. It would appear my wife has been correct all these years.

Thanks Hanu but I personally don't need anything, was thinking of others. If required with new a/c I will continue to use QMB.
