Recording in VR

Recently I've been playing with using the game recording whilst in the Rift, then going to the full screen game (deactivating Rift etc) then replaying the recording and using Shadowplay to record what is on screen.

 

But, the playback shows an in-cockpit zoomed in view as the aspect ratio is skewed.  Does anyone know how to get a zoomed out view ie a 2D replication of what was seen?
