Friendly fire is seldom friendly....

Just a short video to show and unfortunate friendly fire incident I was involved in. Thought I would share it on here so maybe the others involved can see it. Put in some dramatic music to keep it interesting. I feel as though I need to apologies both to the yak pilot for the friendly fire, and the 109 pilot for stealing his kill.

 

I have watched the replay's and checked the stats page and if the video doesn't show it clear enough this might help. At time point 1.14 you will see my bullets go passed the 109 and hit the Yak's tail, which falls off shortly after.  At 1.37 you will see my bullets go passed the 109 again and take off the yaks wing. It had to be my bullets as the 109 was not firing at that point and the wings of liberty stats page backs this up. 

Please note, this is all in half or quarter speed so the gunnery looks terrible, and at full speed I think it actually looked worse! I don't fly the la-5 much so I am still getting used to it.
